History of Girls Guide To Life Club

Girls Guide To Life Club was officially founded October, 2022 in Atlanta Georgia by Ronsha’ D. Wilson Netter.

Ronsha’ had a vision when she was just a high school student while doing a project for her business-computer class. The assignment was to come up with a business that the students would open.  When it was time for Ronsha’ to present what her business was, she introduced her class to what she called a modeling school for girls with low self-esteem. Due to her own struggles and obstacles growing up, Ronsha’ had a strong desire to help young women feel more beautiful. Ever since then, she went on a personal journey to start a business that would encourage women to be their best selves and feel the most confident. She did not know exactly what to do or where to start, and would soon learn it would be a hard journey to figure out what type of business that would officially be.

Ronsha’s very first business was started straight out of high school at the young age of 17 years old. PFF Clothing or ‘’Passion For Fashion Clothing’’ was a clothing boutique created for women of all shapes and sizes. She thought it was important to show love to all women, especially those of plus size. Back in the day, it was hard to find clothing for bigger-sized women.

PFF Clothing succeeded for almost 2 years until Ronsha’ came to the realization that it was not enough. It was more retail and too much of a process to do. Not enough fulfilling work. She wanted more so she took some time off to brainstorm what was missing.

After brainstorming, and along with losing weight in her own fitness journey,  Alert Academy was born. Alert Academy offered programs that specialized in helping women find inner beauty and confidence. The goal was to help women lose weight, find a new look, or jumpstart a small business in the beauty industry. Alert Academy succeeded for about 3 years until Ronsha’ thought something was missing from this new business structure.

Ronsha’ then again needed to take time off to brainstorm about what was missing. This is the time when she discovered her love for kids and went on a separate path unwinding that passion. She thought it would be a great idea to incorporate ideas from Alert Academy into a new nonprofit organization for young women. This was also during the time when she remembered her original vision of a modeling school for girls with low self-esteem. This is how Girls Guide To Life Club was established.
